Ford in Europe 2023 Wrap-Up

As we always do at this time of year,

It’s time to look back on all the things we’ve done.

Reveals, EVs, tech, and innovation,

Racing, big impacts, and teasing what’s to come.

But this year we’re doing things a bit differently,

Focussing on what meant a lot to us, and why.

The things we’re most proud about bringing to you,

In a year that has truly flown by.

We revealed our next wave of vehicles,

With Europe’s best-selling pickup leading the way.

New variations in Ranger Wildtrak X and Tremor,

Plus, a PHEV announcement – perfect for work and play.

Next-generation models, like a Ranger that’s new,

And our Nugget camper, showing the best that Ford Pro can do.

A thoughtful kitchen layout, AND a PHEV option too,

A personal adventure sanctuary – there’s even a loo!

The Ford Pro announcements just kept coming,

With the electric E-Transit Courier up next.

Uncompromising EV performance and connectivity,

Helping your business to do what it does best.

The return of an all-American legend,

Bringing Bronco to Europe was truly something special.

Go-anywhere ability and smart technologies,1

Taking our already iconic line-up to the next level.

Furthering our commitment to electric,

We opened the Cologne Electric Vehicle Center.

A hi-tech production facility for passenger vehicles,

Part of a $2 billion investment on the road to better.

We made a statement, launching our electric Explorer,

A trailblazing, adventure-ready SUV.

With Lexie at the wheel, it left for Charge Around The Globe,

Ready to take on any challenge – whatever that may be.

Our iconic F-150 Lightning came to Norway and Switzerland,

Bringing excitement and 3.5-tonne towing.2

Ideal for their cold and wintery climates,

With drive modes so you’re not stuck when it’s snowing.

We know customers love our Mustang Mach-E,

But we wanted to know how it fits into their lives.

So we launched our ‘Mach-E and Me’ video series,

To find out not just the what but the why.

Always looking to innovate and bring you new tech,

Making your life easier and your journeys more relaxing.

The first of its kind approved in Europe – our BlueCruise system,3

Hands-off eyes-on driving that’s less demanding.

Constantly looking to help make roads safer,

Exit Warning helping to prevent accidents involving your doors.

Alerting you and other road users to potential collisions,

To help stop cyclists ending up on the floor.

Implementing Amazon Alexa Built-In in our vehicles in Europe,4

Letting you use it without the need for a phone.

Allowing you to access news, weather, and entertainment,

Or even remotely managing the temperature at home.

We have a long and storied relationship with racing,

And after more than 20 years we’re returning to Formula One.

Helping to supply engines to teams on the grid,

Leaving us and Ford fans excited for what is to come.

Returning to Goodwood with some brand-new toys,

For reveals, hill climbs, and a dynamic debut or two.

With the GT3, Dark Horse, and Mach-E Rally,

Our famous Mustang family grew.

We made SuperVan 4.2 and took it to Pikes Peak,

Ready to “Race to the Clouds”.

1,400 PS of high-tech electric power,5

Romain Dumas helped us “wow” the crowds.

Doing more than getting you where you want go,

Our vehicles get to those in trouble at speed.

The Mustang Mach-E ambulance serves those in London,

Helping the emergency services reach those in need.

Further helping those who help others,

Our E-Transit aids paramedics in Valencia, Spain.

Smoother and quieter journeys,

A high-tech ambulance, alleviating suffering and pain.

We finished 2023 strong,

Picking up double end-of-year awards.

International Van and Pick Up of the Year respectively,

Transit Custom and Ranger flying the flag for Ford.

Another year that has been challenging,

But has allowed us to rise to new heights.

We hope 2024 brings you the best,

Merry Christmas to all – and to all a good night.
