Who drives Ford’s Mustang Mach-E? Brand new video series explores the real lives of owners

Why do people choose a Mustang Mach-E and how does our first all-electric SUV fit into their lives? From architect to driving instructor, our new series of videos launching today, called ‘Mach-E & Me’, sets out to find the answers.

The first video, which coincides with National Mustang Day, features a high-flying and high-achieving owner. Birk Ruud is a Norwegian freestyle skier who wrote his dreams on his bedroom wall when he was a boy… then went out and achieved them. From X-Games to the Olympics he’s won the lot.

While his aerial tricks are watched by amazed crowds of thousands he admits the attention his Mustang Mach-E gets him is something he relishes too.

In the second episode of Mach-E and Me, we follow Unni Furfjord, an architect and Mustang Mach-E owner from Bodø, Norway. Unni’s work draws inspiration from nature and the beautiful landscape of Norway. With such a strong connection to her art, it is no surprise that her home and red Mach-E is driven by design.

Mustang Mach-E owner Katrine founded Copenhagen Cartel, which creates swimwear and activewear out of ocean plastic and works to challenge the way we produce and consume.

With more and more driving students in the Netherlands consciously choosing to learn in electric vehicles, our fourth episode discovers why 'Generation Electric' is coming to driving instructor Chantal van Waardenburg to learn in a Mustang Mach-E.

Meet Peter Steer, a UK electro-rock musician who fell in love with the Mustang Mach-E’s futuristic style. We discover how the electric Mustang makes Peter’s journey to his more enjoyable and sustainable.

The final video in this series of ‘Mach-E & Me’ heads to our home in Germany, Cologne. A hero of FC Köln’s terraces for seven seasons, Canadian former footballer Kevin McKenna reflects on his career on the football pitch and how he found a new challenge off it.

Now a coach at FC Köln he’s using his experience to help the next generation, instilling his belief that players should have fun at all costs. And fun is something he’s also finding with his Mustang Mach-E, with its handling, stereo and quiet performance making it his favourite ever Ford.

Finally, a special bonus episode, featuring Olympic-gold winning cross-country skier Jonna Sundling! When she’s not hurtling down mountains or standing on podiums, Jonna still likes to keep active and immerse herself in the gorgeous nature of her homeland. With a mounted bike rack and both front and rear storage space, the Mach-E can take Jonna wherever she needs to go in comfort and style.
