Two new Ranger pickups get go-anywhere upgrades
Europe’s best-selling pickup family 1 is now broader than ever, with our new Ranger Wildtrak X and Tremor models joining the line-up.
The
classy-but-capable Ranger Wildtrak X builds on the popular Wildtrak model; Asphalt
Black alloy wheels and exterior details, unique steel underbody protection, and
optional LED auxiliary lights in the grille set it apart. Inside, there’s soft-touch
suede with contrast Cyber Orange stitching, as well as Wildtrak X embroidery to
add an exclusive feel.
Ranger Tremor
is based on the XLT series, which farmers and foresters across Europe love.
We’ve widened the wheelarches to cover the beefed-up suspension and added a
tubular load bar that runs down the cargo bed for more practicality. Side steps
and exposed tow hooks stick to the function-first theme, while easy-clean vinyl
trim and extra pre-wired switches mean the cab’s ready for work.
Both models
feature re-engineered suspension. This increases the width between the wheels
improves stability and creates a tough look, and raised ride height helps when crossing
rough terrain and deep mud or water. The new setup includes high-tech elements
from suspension experts Bilstein for on-road comfort and resistance to
punishing off-road conditions. 2
Every Ranger
Wildtrak X and Tremor has a 3.0-litre turbodiesel engine, and a 10-speed
automatic gearbox 3 – just like the Ranger
Raptor performance off-roader – that combine to deliver smooth, powerful
performance for towing, carrying heavy loads or keeping going when the road
runs out.
When you do go
off-road, new driver assistance tech makes it simpler. 4 Trail Turn
Assist enables tighter turns off-road to get around sharp corners, and Trail
Control automatically keeps the pickup at a set speed so you can focus on
steering through obstacles. Both models also feature an all-new e‑4WD system
that automatically responds to changing conditions.
Lots of pickup owners carry long items – think ladders, planks, or kayaks. Our new Flexible Rack System option 5 combines a sliding rear bar and roof rack that let you carry them flat, rather than wedging them between the tailgate and cabin. This also frees up the load bed for smaller items.

2 Always consult the Owner’s Manual before off-road driving, know your terrain and trail difficulty, and use appropriate safety gear.
3 Ford Ranger Wildtrak X homologated CO2 emissions 269-271 g/km WLTP, homologated fuel efficiency 10.3 l/100 km WLTP.
Ford Ranger Tremor homologated CO2 emissions 270 g/km WLTP, homologated fuel efficiency 10.3 l/100 km WLTP.
CO2 emission and fuel efficiency ranges may vary according to vehicle variants offered by individual markets. The declared WLTP fuel/energy consumptions, CO2-emissions and electric range are determined according to the technical requirements and specifications of the European Regulations (EC) 715/2007 and (EU) 2017/1151 as last amended. The applied standard test procedures enable comparison between different vehicle types and different manufacturers.
4 Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. It does not replace safe driving. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.
5 Flexible Rack System available on select models from
2023 production. Maximum load limit is 80 kg (dynamic) and 250 kg (static).
Manual set-up required. Removal of antenna mast recommended when cargo
positioned over antenna - may affect availability of radio, satellite and
connected services. Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and weight
distribution. Max payload varies and is based on accessories and vehicle
configuration. See label on doorjamb for carrying capacity of a specific
vehicle.
