Best-selling Kuga now available with Black Package

Our Kuga SUV is a popular choice, especially the Kuga Plug-In Hybrid 1 that can be plugged in externally to charge up – it’s the best-selling PHEV in Europe so far this year. 2 3

More than 23,000 Kuga Plug-In Hybrids have already reached new homes this year, allowing drivers the flexibility to make frequent journeys on electric power alone, thanks to an all-electric city range of 71-88 km WLTP. 1

Now we’ve added some new options for greater comfort and an extra dash of style.

Customers choosing a Kuga ST-Line X can add the Black Package, which includes a black painted roof, black detailing on the door mirrors, front bumper and rear spoiler, plus 20-inch black-painted alloy wheels.

The ST-Line and Kuga badges are also finished in black, and you can choose from a range of body colours to blend or contrast with the black detailing.

Kuga customers can now also select a comfort seat option that has been approved by a leading spinal health organisation Aktion Gesunder Rücken e.V. (AGR), the Campaign for Healthier Backs.

To gain AGR-certification, the product must be able to adapt to the user. That is why our seats have 18-way adjustability including height, which can help drivers of all sizes get comfortable.

Lower back pain is a leading cause of disability globally, and one study found that 63 per cent of drivers suffered with back pain that interfered with daily activities. 4

1 Kuga Plug-In Hybrid homologated CO2 emissions 21-30 g/km WLTP, homologated fuel efficiency 0.9-1.3 l/100 km WLTP and pure electric driving range 57-67 km WLTP. CO2 emission and fuel efficiency ranges may vary according to vehicle variants offered by individual markets.

The declared WLTP fuel/energy consumptions, CO2-emissions and electric range are determined according to the technical requirements and specifications of the European Regulations (EC) 715/2007 and (EU) 2017/1151 as last amended. The applied standard test procedures enable comparison between different vehicle types and different manufacturers.
