Puma hybrid rally car gatecrashes the party

Ever wondered what would happen if you let loose a full-blooded rally car inside a factory?

Now you can see for yourself in our new film 1 starring the M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1 car.

Spoiler alert: There are jumps, stunts, precision driving, and a ruined cake.

The exciting film was created not only to give rally fans their first look at the competition version of the hybrid car that will compete in the World Rally Championship from January 2022, but also to celebrate the 1 millionth car being built at our Craiova factory in Romania.

The whole film was shot on location at the factory, where we make the road-going version of the Puma SUV, which also uses hybrid power. 2

The car was driven and stunts performed by M-Sport Ford World Rally Team driver Adrien Fourmaux using ramps and rigs developed by Ford engineers based at Craiova. It took three days to shoot with a cast and crew of about 40 people, and all of the actors work at the factory.

Keep your eyes peeled for “Easter eggs” too...

1 Filming took place under controlled conditions on closed roads using professional stunt drivers. Do not attempt to recreate or re-enact the stunts shown. Always drive responsibly and obey local motoring regulations.
