Full-scale Team Fordzilla P1 Racing Car to be Revealed
Team Fordzilla will take the wraps off a full-scale prototype of its P1 racing car and you can follow the action live Online.
The one-of-a-kind car, the first-ever digital racer to be co-created by the gaming community and a major OEM, will be unveiled at 16.30 CET @ www.teamfordzilla.com
It was just over three months ago when Jim Farley, CEO Ford Motor Company, and Amko Leenarts, Design director Ford of Europe, first announced at Gamescom 2020 the winning design of Team Fordzilla P1
The vehicle was an open collaboration between gamers and Ford designers, via social media. At critical design stages, gamers voted on Twitter to decide certain elements, and winners of specific races voted on vehicle attributes before Ford of Europe designers developed their interpretations.
Two exterior and interior designs were put forward for the final polls, with Ford designers Arturo Ariño and Robert Engelmann winning for their exterior and interior proposals respectively. Close to 250,000 fans voted throughout the process.
