A new electric sidekick for outdoor fun

Some of our customers tell us they need a vehicle that can do the school run in the morning, take the whole family including dogs along with sports gear into the wild at weekends – and even carry tools and work materials during the week as well.

Enter the E-Tourneo Courier, our new, electric multi-activity vehicle 1 developed to combine SUV-inspired style, spacious practicality and city-friendly manoeuvrability.

Next-gen electric looks are intensified with a futuristic front light bar, signature chrome diamond grille, and aerodynamic wheel designs. The modern styling reflects the tough, eager capability that customers tell us they like, and the squared-off exterior design also helps to maximise interior space with more headroom and shoulder room than the outgoing Tourneo Courier to make journeys more comfortable.

There’s also more than 44 per cent more boot space than the outgoing model, 2 meaning no need to pack light. The rear bench splits 60-40 if you need to carry passengers and longer cargo at the same time, and because there’s no engine, we could add storage under the bonnet so your charging cable and smaller items won’t be buried under sports kit or suitcases in the boot when you need them.

Charging is easy, too, with E-Tourneo Courier’s new digital experiences. Our handy FordPass app 3 helps you manage the battery charge levels, and you can take advantage of cheaper energy by charging overnight at home. If you need a top-up or head out on road trips, our BlueOval Charge Network is set to include 500,000 chargers across Europe by 2024. Fast charging can take E-Tourneo Courier from 10‑80 per cent in under 35 minutes. 4

Electric drive from a 136 PS e-motor means that longer trips to your favourite beauty spots become more relaxing, with no need to change gear and even the option of selecting one-pedal drive mode 5 that slows the vehicle and recharges the battery automatically when you lift off the accelerator. Subscription-based Connected Navigation 6 helps you find your favourite places more easily, and the latest SYNC 4 infotainment 7 can keep the whole crew connected and entertained on the way.

E-Tourneo Courier is available in Europe from 2024. A petrol-engined Tourneo Courier model with 125 PS 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine 1 is available for order this summer, with deliveries before the end of 2023.
