Mustang Mach-E now kayak and roofbox friendly

The improvements and updates to Mustang Mach-E keep coming. Following the recent increase in approved towing capacity to 1,000 kgs for several variants, all Mustang Mach-E vehicles are now approved for roof loads of up to 75 kgs.

That means whether you want to take your kayaks to the river, your skis to the mountains or simply want a roofbox to maximise storage on your summer getaway, then the Mustang Mach-E is ready to help. And compared to flying, that 75 kgs limit could comfortably allow for the equivalent of three checked-in suitcases, with no excess fee to pay if you’re a little bit over.

Models with the optional panoramic roof are certified to carry roof loads too - up to 65 kgs – and all Mustang Mach-E models will have the digital instruction manual on the SYNC4 infotainment system amended accordingly in a future Ford Power-Up over-the-air update.

We’re continuously striving to improve our customers’ vehicles so that they always drive the best version of the Mustang Mach-E possible. Hopefully these latest updates will make this summer in the Mustang Mach-E even more memorable.
