Next-Gen Ranger Raptor is ready for action

Since we introduced the Ranger Raptor to Europe in 2018, it’s earned a reputation as the pinnacle of pick-ups in Europe. Our all-new model goes even further; it’s packed with exciting new features for thrill-seekers and fitted with new hardware to help it go further off-road.

At its heart is a gutsy V6 petrol engine with two turbochargers for a major power increase over the outgoing model. 1 Race-bred tech improves responsiveness, and new exhaust settings include Quiet Mode – to avoid annoying the neighbours – and maximum-attack Baja Mode for mild‑to‑wild drives.

Customers told us that their pick-up must look and be ready for anything. Designers flared the wheel arches and added extra vents and intakes to reflect Ranger Raptor’s desert racing origins, while tough-looking grippy side steps, tow hooks and chunky off-road tyres also add functionality.

Flat-out off-road driving gives suspension a workout; for a smoother ride, we used non‑stick material similar to the coatings on kitchen equipment for Ranger Raptor’s all-new suspension system.

Drivers will make the most of the performance over jumps, so the suspension settings update hundreds of times each second2 to offer softer landings after big air and more control when accelerating hard. Additional drive modes 2 can vary Ranger Raptor from quiet cruiser to off‑road powerhouse for different scenarios.

Ranger Raptor’s high-energy theme continues in the cabin. Space-age screens and jet fighter-style seats front and rear create a striking first impression, while the 10-speaker B&O sound system 4 and sports steering wheel with magnesium gearshift paddles make every drive a special occasion.

1 Officially homologated fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions figures will be published closer to on-sale date. The declared WLTP fuel/energy consumptions, CO2-emissions and electric range are determined according to the technical requirements and specifications of the European Regulations (EC) 715/2007 and (EU) 2017/1151 as last amended. The applied standard test procedures enable comparison between different vehicle types and different manufacturers.

2 Driver-assist features are supplemental to and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. It does not replace safe driving. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.

3 Don’t drive while distracted or while using handheld devices. Use voice-operated systems when possible. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.
