To get more out of life, fit more into the all-new Tourneo Connect

Lots of us have probably carried children or pets in our cars – but what about kite-surfing equipment, a mobile Pilates studio or a professional DJ’s sound system? They’re just some of the things carried around by the families who helped us reveal the all‑new Tourneo Connect.

Beatrix runs a mobile Pilates business, and often drives to family in Germany with her partner Gary and their two children. Add in kite-surfing gear and dogs Islay and Banksy, and that’s a lot of stuff. Kwame and Anuli need room for DJ equipment, space to ferry their sports-mad children to games, and enough practicality for hiking and swimming trips with extended family – so their car must also be a tour bus and taxi.

Tourneo Connect’s seven seats across three rows easily fold or come out for more passenger or cargo space 1 to help with last-minute lifts or loading up for work. The low floor and sliding doors on each side help Isla, Banksy and the children in and out, and the front passenger seat folds to fit sports gear or ladders up to three metres long in the cabin – no more roof racks. 1

Whether going to Germany or a gig, the assisted accelerator, brake and steering functions help reduce fatigue on long drives. 2 Tourneo Connect can also find and steer into and out of parking spots for you, while the stylish design and paint options including Boundless Blue and Maple red mean it stands out once parked.

Tourneo Connect even helps beginners to manoeuvre a trailer or caravan; a smart new feature lets you guide the vehicle and trailer with the door mirror adjuster instead of the steering wheel, while guidelines on the reversing camera screen help prevent embarrassing and costly bumps. 2

The all-new Ford Tourneo Connect will be open for order in early 2022, with vehicles set to arrive in time for summer.

1 Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and weight distribution.

2 Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. It does not replace safe driving. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.
