We’re kicking off a unique tour
with our
TeamFordzilla esports team to bring the thrills of gaming to disadvantaged
children across Europe using a one-off Gaming Transit van.
Nicknamed ‘Vanzilla’, the
unmistakably styled Transit has been specially fitted with accessible gaming
suites, racing simulators and a wheelchair lift to make it as inclusive as
possible. Seats that fold away for wheelchair access and adaptive controllers
supporting extra joysticks and buttons help gamers with limited mobility join
the fun.
Our road trip will include stops
at care centres, alternative provision schools and charities that support children
as we bring exciting new experiences to gamers and share Team Fordzilla’s
values of accessibility, inclusivity and fun competition in gaming.
The tour begins in Spain before
moving onto France, Germany, Italy and the UK. As well as the chance to play
family-friendly games in ‘Vanzilla’, you can also expect to see some familiar
faces from Team Fordzilla and surprise appearances at other events as part of
our marathon road trip.
