Celebrating International Women’s Day

Today, we are taking the opportunity to put the spotlight on some of the great talent in our team, spanning a diverse range of roles, working areas and levels of seniority.

These trailblazers, barrier breakers, inspiring leaders and rising talents are also empowering the next generation to seek careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is #ChoosetoChallenge, because challenging the status quo helps break the stereotypes and bring about change.

As Betty Cherian-Oddo said, about choosing engineering, “some people told me this wasn’t for me, that this was a male domain. I’m so proud that I pursued my career and proved those people wrong.”

Marilena Papuc, area manager in the paint shop in Romania, said, “I’m so proud to lead the team that helps add the finishing touches to cars that men and women have built together.”
