Ford pickup enters the Rocket League arena
At the end of last year we turned gaming concept into reality by unveiling a full-scale model of the Team Fordzilla P1 racecar; a car created with gamers for gamers. Now we’re collaborating with critically acclaimed video game developer, Psyonix, to design and place a special edition of our F-150 pickup truck into the popular Rocket League multiplayer game.
While the truck may not be available in the metal to European buyers, the specially-designed F-150 Rocket League Edition – complete with rocket booster – will be available as an in-game purchase from February 20th to 28th. The F-150 bundle also includes a chairman decal, two sets of F-150 wheels, F-150 Rocket League Edition engine audio, F-150 boost and F-150 player banner.
We’re also becoming the presenting sponsor for this month’s Rocket League Championship Series Winter Majors, which include an arena full of billboards and a special F-150 that appears between matches to repair and ready the Rocket League pitch for play. This includes repainting boundary lines and towing away damaged vehicles.
The championship continues every weekend in February and can be viewed on both Rocket League’s Twitch and YouTube channels. You can see the remaining schedule below:
