Striking New Ranger MS-RT Is a Pick-up for the Street

Pick-ups have come a long way from their early days hauling hay bales or horse boxes.

Our new Ranger MS-RT is a premium luxury pick-up with motorsport-inspired style and high-end specification.

The exclusive hand-built bodykit includes sculpted side skirts and wider wheel arches to cover the 20-inch OZ Racing alloy wheels – the largest we fit to any Ranger. A bespoke front fascia includes a carbon fibre-effect honeycomb grille and integrated fog lights, while the racing style extends to the aerodynamic sports hoop over the load bed.

Inside, luxurious leather trim with embossed MS-RT logos make the cabin an inviting and comfortable place to be. The SYNC 3 connectivity and navigation system with 8-inch colour touchscreen helps you to get where you’re going and keeps you entertained en route.

Ranger MS-RT gets the range-topping 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine,1 producing 213 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque – enough to easily haul loads of up to 1,098 kg2 and tow up to 3,500 kg3 – and the 10-speed automatic gearbox is shared with our iconic Mustang sports car.

There’s even an app-controlled Maxhaust soundbox available, which lets you adapt the engine noise with your smartphone for a sportier feel. This clever system creates a deep, throaty exhaust note reminiscent of high-performance vehicles, with volume control to suit cruising on the open road or driving quietly through residential areas.

Ranger MS-RT joins the existing Transit Custom and Transit Connect vans in the MS-RT series, and will be available in select European markets from summer 2021.
