Adventurous Trail and Active Series Join Transit Family
We’ve made our Transit range even more capable for owners who need to head off the beaten track, whether for work or pleasure.
Inspired by popular SUV vehicles, our Active series add rugged styling, better rough-road driving ability and an enhanced cabin for the versatile Transit and Transit Custom vans, and the Tourneo Custom people-mover.
Outdoor sports fans take note; the Active models’ upgraded mechanicals give more grip on loose, slippery and soft surfaces. Carrying kayaks or surfboards is no problem either – we’ve added full-length roof rails. Tourneo Custom Active even offers bicycle holders that fit into seat mounts so they’re secure on the move.
Part-leather trim and unique finishes help create a comfy cabin for families whose sense of adventure sees them spend more time on the road. The statement grille, alloy wheels and unique decals give the Active models a dynamic look.
The new Trail models are rugged vans for businesses whose work takes them off-road. Clever engineering improves traction and optional Intelligent All-Wheel Drive lets drivers take on more challenging terrain without losing load capacity.
If working in muddy or dusty environments, full leather interiors are durable and easy to clean. And freezing winter or humid summer conditions are no problem either, because our clever heated windscreen technology for fast de-icing and air-conditioning are standard.
Key elements of the Trail and Active series – such as exterior and interior trim, or the mLSD on the Trail series – are part of a standard offering.
ReplyDeleteHowever, you can still select from a wide range of optional features – such as seating packs, audio systems, Driver Assistance technologies, body features like doors/windows – to tailor the vehicle to fit your needs.
There is also a broad choice of engine power/transmissions, body styles, wheelbases and GVMs for each of the different variants.
Bottom line, there's plenty of choice.
