Ford's S-MAX and Galaxy get a facelift

Ford's popular people movers, the S-MAX and Galaxy have been given a makeover to be more stylish, more comfortable and better connected than ever.

Not only are Ford now offering a new high specification Galaxy Vignale which includes Salerno leather-wrapped instrument panel and centre console, aluminium detailing and the same 10-way-adjustable, 11 bladder, multi-contour seats with massage function as S-MAX Vignale, but the whole Galaxy and S-MAX range have been given a facelift.

S-MAX and Galaxy models now feature a new front end design with different grille and foglamp detailing depending on trim level, as well as some new alloy wheel options including 18-inch two-tone 15-spoke designs for Titanium models.

Ford's new 18-way adjustable driver and front passenger seats available for S-MAX and Galaxy Trend and Titanium variants can help provide relief for back pain-sufferers on the road, and have achieved recognition from the Aktion Gesunder Rücken e.V. (AGR) (the Campaign for Healthier Backs), an independent testing committee of experts from various medical fields.

With the introduction of our FordPass Connect on-board modem technology Ford are also enabling connectivity for up to 10 devices and new Local Hazard Information functionality. Local Hazard Information works independently of sat-nav and can inform drivers of incidents like oil spills or accidents that are unseen around the corner. The driver can then either seek a different route or approach the incident safely.

With powerful and efficient engines, a range of available driver comfort and convenience technologies and our SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system, which is compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, people movers have never been so good.
