Celebrating Ford Motor Company’s 15 millionth vehicle

Pictured here celebrating the production of The Ford Motor Company’s 15 millionth vehicle, Henry Ford and his son Edsel reflect on the remarkable progress the company made since Ford built his very first car, the Quadricycle.

Completed in 1896, Ford sold the first of his hand-built vehicles for $200. The basic machine was a simple frame with an ethanol-powered engine and four bicycle wheels mounted on it.
