Lego Ford GT
If you can’t wait to see more of the forthcoming Ford GT there’s always the option taken by Alexander Pinheiro Paschoaletto – build your own.
For the 18-year-old engineering student from Brazil, this painstakingly crafted model combines two of his great passions.
“I’ve always been a fan of the legendary GT40 and its history at Le Mans, so when I heard of the new generation of GT I had to build one,” said Paschoaletto. “Most models take a week to complete at most, but the GT took ten days – with one entire day spent just on the doors.”
Measuring 270 mm long, 110 mm wide and 80 mm tall, the model consists 950 pieces.
Paschoaletto already has a few more models in his sights after finishing his Mechatronics Engineering course at the University of Brasilia.
“The 2013 Shelby GT500 and Focus RS500 are two incredible cars – the original GT40 is in my plans as well,” he said.
