Ford achieves a major environmental milestone

Ford is no longer sending waste to landfill sites from any of it’s 12 manufacturing plants in Europe.

Ford went from sending 6,000 tonnes from plants into landfill five years ago by actively doing more recycling, as well as more reusing and repurposing. Along with innovative measures included turning sludge into fuel at the Dagenham engine plant, in Essex.
